We understand how important LMS notification emails are to users and managers. Whether its a user digest, enrollment or the intial welcome email, the Noverant team works to make sure these templates meet your standard for end user communication and displays exactly what the message intends.
Before requesting an email template change it is important to note that currently not all templates allow options to add color, font styles, font sizes to text. There are a few HMTL based templates but many are simple text to allow for acceisiblity and standardization across email platforms.
When submitting a request to change an email template, first be sure to include the name of the email template name. This can even be the title of the ticket, (Ex: Email Template Change Request: Enrollment). This decreases any misunderstanding with support when making the change in the correct email template. You can find the list (and review the details of each template) from the following menu.
Include a screenshot of the current email that is being sent to users. This screenshot helps with comparing the changes made in the template once we have completed the change with the previous email. You will see many paramaters within brackets {xxxxx} that Noverant Support will maintain for you.
Your request should include what the expected template should display. If possible we ask that you include where spacing should be, where paragraphs should begin and end, and any details that help us with completing your vision of the email template. It is best practice to copy the entire text from the Template Screen and paste into word, make your modifications with highlihts and attach to the ticket for reference.
Example: In the screenshot below, notice the arrow pointing to the location of where the change in the email should be made.
Noverant Support will make sure your approval is confirmed and request you to test the new email template in the Sandbox environment before publishing in your Production environment.
