Quicker Way to Upload Users:
The bulk load tool for users is essentially an easier way to upload multiple users into the LMS. It involves adding multiple users, to the LMS system simultaneously rather than adding them one by one manually. This is completed by creating an Excel or Notepad file with the required fields that are recognized by the bulk load tool within the LMS.
This tool can be viewed as an alternate, simpler, and manageable version of the User Sync tool, which requires coding, and automation communication between LMS and client. The bulk load tool serves as a tool that admins with the correct privileges can take advantage of for needing to upload multiple users at once.
How to Use the Tool:
The tool is available for admins or managers of groups and is found in the “My Groups” tab on the homepage. Use the search filter to search for the group you are looking to bulk upload new users in.
Next, from the group actions dropdown, select the “Bulk Add New Users From File”.
On the page you're directed to, this is the page where an admin uploads their file which includes the new users to add. There are multiple rules to follow for inputting users into a file to upload. By clicking the “here” button in the header of the page you’ll have a direct of guidelines to follow for what is allowed in the file.
